The only way you can get banned is if you go online, mod, and grief other people intentionally. You can’t get banned for modding an offline game, although I guess it’d kinda make it more boring for you as you can zip through the story and just be done with it nearly instantly (if you’re modding it that way). Still, no matter where you download a mod from, look through the comments to make sure other players aren’t reporting issues. Mods from and are among the safest, because the websites scan for malware as the mods are uploaded. You are not going to be banned for using any of the mods from GTA5-Mods.
